I bought tickets to fly Jason and I out to see the Foo Fighters in Colorado at Red Rock last Tuesday (as a surprise to Jason), but stupid Dave Grohl had to get sick and our trip was postponed until the beginning of September. Total bummer.
I was bummed not only because our my super plan did not work out the way it was supposed to, but because I really wanted to see Joanne. So, I called on Jason Parks, master flight attendant, to my rescue. He got me tickets out to Denver for Tuesday morning/afternoon, and I ended up spending 36 hours with her and Lynette.
We enjoyed laying out by the pool, karaoke, going to the farmers market, eating vegan food, and drinking Tangtinis. Martinis made with Tang. Best dang Martini I've ever had.
It cost me $2.97 an hour to see my best friend, and it was definitely worth it.

Dave should have known better to get sick for your concert. But the Foo Fighter will be worth the wait until September. They are awesome in concert.

While it didn't work out, that's a way awesome gift! What a good wife you are. :)
When you do see The Foo Fighters, it will be worth the wait. They put on a great show! And you've been here twice now and I still haven't seen you, that stinks!
