The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Some people don't like animals, but I do. I have two cats, a dog, and a handful of fish. They have very distinct personalities, and if anyone has ever met our Olive, you know what I'm talking about.

The Good.

Olive is now seven years old, and I thought it was time to take her to a dog park for the first time. She had a blast, and only got "mounted" once. She looked so cute with her pink collar that the chocolate lab just couldn't resist. Big thanks to Jason Parks for going with me.The Bad.

Pickles and Jemima. Pickles is a pain in the butt, but she will come to me from wherever she is in the house and all I have to do is sing to her. If I need her up in our room, I just sing my song and she shows up almost immediately. Here is a picture of Pickles licking a piece of cantaloupe. She usually licks pictures of people, so I don't mind this too much.Jemima is always playing with things that she should not play with. She has this crazy feather toy that she will drag up and down the stairs all night long. I'm going to burn that toy if she doesn't stop soon.
The Ugly.

If you're squeamish, I apologize. My fish, which will remain nameless, looks absolutely terrible. Last week I woke up to see that my black fish's eye was filled with blood. It's supposed to have bulgy eyes, but I'm pretty sure that it's not supposed to be filled with blood. I don't know what to do with it, because it swims around and seems perfectly content. I don't have the heart to flush it while it's still alive and I can't take it to the vet, so there it will stay in my tank until it implodes.

Gadzooks!!

It's been a while since my last post, but I've been doing WAY more important things, like...

1. Dancing the night away at my high school reunion.2. Traveling up to Sacramento with my mom to visit my Aunt JoAnn and Jerry (and JJ).3. Putting together IKEA furniture together with Madison.4. Last but not least, watching the Olympics ALL DAY LONG.
Mmmmm... Ryan Lochte. Need I say more?

Katherine Heigl's Got Nothing On Me

Anybody who knows me knows that I love dresses. I usually buy a new one for every "event" that I attend. My newest purchase was a dress from bebe that I will wear this Saturday at my ten year high school reunion. In fact, I just watched the movie 27 Dresses with my mom, and thought that it was really cute. But I didn't realize my dress obsession until last night. A while back I had Jason build me a separate dress closet when we were remodeling our bedroom, and I looked inside it last night. It's really full. Like, completely full.

I own 48 dresses.

That doesn't even count any of my formals or my wedding dress.

Dude. (Jason Parks) That's a lot.

So I've decided that I need to start some kind of dress rental business. All of my dresses are in good condition because they are all less than 2 years old. I really try to take very good care of them. So, if anyone out there is a size six, or know anyone who is, please give me a call. I need to start sharing. Or renting for a small fee. Or just sharing.

Don't worry guys, the hamburger dress is next on my list to purchase.
