I've never written to any company before about a product, but I feel that you might actually want to hear what I have to say. I love Sunchips and always have, but this last bag that I purchased from my local grocery store was different. The chips inside are very tasty, but it's the bag I have a problem with. It's noisy. I mean, really noisy for a chip bag. I can't enjoy my Sunchips directly from the bag when I watch TV or a movie, because the bag's noise distracts me. Maybe it's the 33 percent recyclable material that is causing the bag to be so loud. I'm not sure what it is, but I don't like it. I work at a middle school and am around loud kids all day long, so all I want to do when I get home is enjoy my Frito-Lay Sunchips in peace. Hopefully your quest for a eco-friendly bag will ultimately result in a quieter one as well!

Dear Sunchips.
I find your new bags to be loud. Deafening Even.
I spent several minutes looking for the volume knob without success. I am sure this bag was at an "eleven" (spinal tap!!) and I prefer my bags at a 4 and a half.
I always enjoy your chips, but they are difficult to enjoy when their bag is yelling at me. Your chips should be 'sunny' and not in a yelling/angry bag. I am always a fan of your crunchy foods and will look forward to enjoying them again soon, but maybe some suggestions: maybe you could include in the bag some dark sunglasses? Or a paper bag to put over my head? Or curtains which could make my basement really really dark? Thanks for caring Sunchips!

Now I know who to yell at when the price of Sunchips increases to $10 a bag because they had to use some space age polymer to make a silent bag.
